BVI COMPANY SEARCH GUIDE

What a BVI company search shows—and what it does not.

Start with the official Registry snapshot

The BVI Financial Services Commission provides a public search service for registered entities. For a BVI Business Company or Foreign Company, the FSC says each Search Report includes the company name and number, type, incorporation date, status description and status date, current registered agent and agent address, registered office address, share or capital information, previous-name history, transaction history and certificate history.

We can obtain this official Search Report for you for a fixed $50, including the FSC fee and our fulfilment service. It is a standalone purchase and is delivered privately.

Where BVI Company Alerts fits

Our public database and monitoring service use public-source information only. Launch coverage begins with reviewed BVI Official Gazette publications on 30 July 2026. More sources and historical coverage are planned, including published court judgments. Every active source and coverage period is clearly labelled.

Private FSC Search Reports remain separate. Their contents are never copied into a public profile or used to enrich the alerts database.

Frequently asked questions

How do I search for a BVI company?

Current Registry information can be obtained through the BVI Financial Services Commission public search service. BVI Company Alerts offers the official Search Report as a standalone $50 service.

What is included in a BVI FSC Search Report?

For a BVI Business Company or Foreign Company, the FSC says the report includes the company name and number, type, incorporation date, status and status date, registered agent and office information, share or capital information, previous names, transaction history and certificate history.

Does a company search provide ongoing monitoring?

No. A Search Report is a point-in-time Registry snapshot. Ongoing monitoring is a separate service that checks future publications from active public sources.
