BVI GAZETTE GUIDE
How BVI Gazette notices work
The Virgin Islands Official Gazette is the official publication of the Government of the Virgin Islands. It is a key public source for legal, commercial and statutory notices.
Where company notices appear
Each edition is divided into Part 1, Government and Statutory Notices, and Part 2, Liquidation and Other Notices. Company-related material can include liquidator appointments, creditor deadlines, dissolutions, strike-off notices, restorations and corrections.
Publication frequency
Ordinary editions are normally published on Thursdays. Extraordinary editions may be issued on other days, so a weekly manual check can still miss a time-sensitive publication.
What a notice does not prove
A notice records a published event; it does not by itself confirm the company's current Registry status. Names may also be shared or presented differently. Check the official source and obtain a current FSC Search Report where current Registry information is required.
